About AislynnAislynn is originally from the Midwest, relocating to Washington in 1994. She fell in love with the Northwest and its incredible beauty and began painting landscapes in watercolor. Self-taught she decided to seek instruction and studied watercolor with Fred Lisaius and then enrolled at the Gage Academy of Art where she has studied with career artists and instructors. Two years later she has flourished in the fertile artistic community that is Seattle and Aislynn now expresses herself in a variety of mediums. She discovered her passion in figurative sculpture and portraiture work in charcoal and oil. Aislynn has several pieces in the permanent collection of the Unity Center for Behavioral Health, Portland, Oregon, as well as in multiple private collections. Aislynn holds a B.S. Psychology with a minor in Dance from Stephens College, Columbia, Missouri. She attended Gage Academy of Art from January 2018-2020 including a year in the Magrath Sculpture Atelier at Gage. |
